Our goal with this EdenPURE review site isn't to praise or fault EdenPURE or any particular model, but to educate as best we can. This is why we show where we think you can enjoy inexpensive radiant or other electric heaters, and why we think some will especially enjoy infrared heaters.
But in educating, we have to help explain what you can easily find elsewhere: there are a lot of complaints online about the EdenPURE GEN4. While its concept is as good as any infrared heater, it appears to be overpowered for its bulbs, which have frequently gone bad quickly, and there are a lot of disappointed customers as a result.
This has badly reflected on EdenPURE as a whole, which is too bad, because some of its models are very good. In particular, the GEN3 has been solid. And new this year is our favorite: the EdenPURE GEN2. It's half the price of the GEN4, is rated to heat just as much area, and frankly has more and better features, as well as PTC heating elements, which are expected to last at least 4 times as long as quartz infrared bulbs. (Up to 80,000 hours.) You can read about the GEN2 in detail here.
At just $197, it's only about double the cost of the best traditional electric heaters, but we think offers a better experience. We hope you'll check it out.
You can purchase the EdenPURE GEN2 here.
